Transformation Stories

Prakash develops himself as a model farmer
Prakash Thapa is 27 years old resident of Kukhure village-8 Mahakali Village Development Committee. He has four family members including his parents, wife and son. The main occupation of his family is agriculture and livestock. Prakash stayed in city Kathmandu and works in marketing for few years. Later he is not satisfied with his job so decided to go back home and support family in agriculture.

Transformational development in general would address the community development issues pertaining to improvement in quality of life and in particular address the issues of inner transformation, practise of human values and achievement of excellence in professionalism.


Key objective:

Trained youth, women, project staff, Churches and NGOs use knowledge and skills for their own development and contribute to community development.  



·         Conduct vocational training for youth and women

·         Facilitate management training for NGOs and Churches

·         Conduct orientation programs for staff

·         Conduct in house training for the staff
