Women's in community development work

Women's of Bharta VDC, Ward no.1 of Makwanpur District formed group while they were participating LRE course. The discussions they have in the course are liked by the participants so even in their leisure time they sit and discuss on the issues. The major problem was they had no specific place to conduct the meeting. So the women group members and with the help of some youths, they manage to construct a meeting place (Chautaro) locally.

The women who had no concern, interest or involvement in the social issues now have realized the importance of their role in community, their participation and involvement in community development so that they have managed place to get together and discuss on social agendas.
