Prakash develops himself as a model farmer
Prakash Thapa is 27 years old resident of Kukhure village-8 Mahakali Village Development Committee. He has four family members including his parents, wife and son. The main occupation of his family is agriculture and livestock. Prakash stayed in city Kathmandu and works in marketing for few years. Later he is not satisfied with his job so decided to go back home and support family in agriculture.

"My Refuge In Time Of Disaster"

 

Sarita Gurung is from Manidanda, ward no 5 of Chhap VDC living with her 5 years old son. Her husband died in vehicle accident 3 years ago which made her life difficult for income for living.

 

She got more trouble when she lost her house due to earthquake and that was the only property she had. She was living at neighbours land inside the temporary shelter. She was worried about her future and shelter for son.

 

In the time of difficulties, she received food, tarpolin and blanket from Share and Care Nepal.  Later on she received additional support of CGI zinc sheets and 5 kg of GI wire to setup temporary shelter. She has manage to construct small shelter with the support and now living with her son.

 

She appreciate the support and explain that it was out her imagination to receive the support in such time of need.

She says, "I had no hope and dreams ahead but after the support I feel like I will rise again for myself and for my son future. I thank my neighbor and Share and Care members to help me construct this shelter and being pillar in the time of trouble"
