Awareness through mobile ring tone

The major use of mobile is observed to; listen music, play ringbones, capture video and photographs, which is often meant for entertainment. To link this entertainment with sensitization and awareness rising, a team of Share and Care registered an awareness song[i] on human trafficking in Namaste, N cell and UTL ring tone list. Those who set up this ring tone will be sensitizing people who make them call through their ring tone song. It is expected that number of people from community, stakeholder and line agencies will be informed through the song. -

ABCD program implemented LLE class for women. This class is continuing till now. They are discussing in different issues and success of their village. They developed the habits of sharing to each other in group. Along the class they understood an importance and need of group. So they formed a women action group (WAG).

No Dream for foreign Employment
Seti Maya Moktan, age of 45 yrs lives in Raksirang-5, Panjani. She has two sons and two daughters. Her husband was died 5 yrs ago. He left home in search of foreign employment and only his dead body come back after 3 months. Then after, her life became so tough.
She was very shy type of woman. She can't read and write at all. She spoke very few with neighbors and others. She has not any source of income except two pieces of land, even though, she enrolls her younger son and daughter in school at Manahari so that they can read and write and will have better future. But its really becoming hard for her to pay fees and arrange books and copies for children. Therefore, her elder son who has already got married is trying for foreign employment with dreaming to uplift their situation.
She has been engaged in active woman group, formation by HLP project of Share and Care. She has been aware on for what human are being sold? Before involved in this group, she thought that only young girls are sold to brothel for sexual purpose. She is very surprised to know that boys are also sold for different purposes. After getting involved in active woman's group, very shy woman Seti Maya, started to talk with neighbors and others. She begins to think positively towards life. She is actively participating in group. She is aware about unsafe foreign employment and now she won't let her son to go for abroad without getting proper information about the agent and agency.
