Awareness through mobile ring tone

The major use of mobile is observed to; listen music, play ringbones, capture video and photographs, which is often meant for entertainment. To link this entertainment with sensitization and awareness rising, a team of Share and Care registered an awareness song[i] on human trafficking in Namaste, N cell and UTL ring tone list. Those who set up this ring tone will be sensitizing people who make them call through their ring tone song. It is expected that number of people from community, stakeholder and line agencies will be informed through the song. -

They developed the habits of sharing to each other in group. Along the class they understood an importance and need of group. So they formed a women action group (WAG).

Women group support to rescue women from Kuwait
Human Liberty Project of Share and Care Nepal has formed Kerabari women group in Kerabari-5, Sarikhet VDC. Their meeting is held on 18th day of each month. All group members are actively participate in meeting. They do saving & discussed on human trafficking issues. They also share about safe overseas employment and human trafficking. After knowing about safe and unsafe overseas job they identified one women of Kerabari named Hira Ghalan, who has gone Kuwait unsafely. Then this group tried to bring her Nepal. For this, they coordinate with community leader, Share and Care and Maiti Nepal. At last they succeed to rescue her with the help of all stakeholders. She is now living in her own village. Now Kerabari women group is motivating her to involve in their group.
