Awareness through mobile ring tone

The major use of mobile is observed to; listen music, play ringbones, capture video and photographs, which is often meant for entertainment. To link this entertainment with sensitization and awareness rising, a team of Share and Care registered an awareness song[i] on human trafficking in Namaste, N cell and UTL ring tone list. Those who set up this ring tone will be sensitizing people who make them call through their ring tone song. It is expected that number of people from community, stakeholder and line agencies will be informed through the song. -

ABCD program implemented LLE class for women. This class is continuing till now. They are discussing in different issues and success of their village. They developed the habits of sharing to each other in group. Along the class they understood an importance and need of group. So they formed a women action group (WAG).

Her Journey from circus to women group

"I went to India for circus work when I was 15 year's old. I had a false expectation of good food, cloth and job there. I stayed 10 years with anxious life” said Kumari Moktan. She lives in Basamadi-3 Jambo. Now she is 26 years old. She has seven family members.
She thought that there is better life and good money in India than her village. When she reached there she had found completely different which her neighbor has told about. In the circus she had to act upon different hazardous games. If she had made any mistake the owner of the circus called master used to beat her.
Her mother says “When I went India to see my daughter I cried so much because of my daughter work and there situation” She didn’t get adequate food on circus. She had to do the work even in sickness. She had to do extremely risk work even that she got only NRS.200/- as a salary from circus owner.
One day when I was performing a game that is to walk on wire with barefoot, I was suddenly falling down and I became unconscious and my one hand fractured" Every moment she used to remember her family .She tried to return home many times but due to initially made agreement by the circus owner she have to stay for 10 years.
She returned back her home from India after completion of agreement .She couldn't get any opportunity to study there. Now she has joined the life Relevant Education organized by WDC project near her village so she able to read and write. She became a member of women group because she says that It will be easy to do saving and loans through women group. In spite of this group plays the
