Awareness through mobile ring tone

The major use of mobile is observed to; listen music, play ringbones, capture video and photographs, which is often meant for entertainment. To link this entertainment with sensitization and awareness rising, a team of Share and Care registered an awareness song[i] on human trafficking in Namaste, N cell and UTL ring tone list. Those who set up this ring tone will be sensitizing people who make them call through their ring tone song. It is expected that number of people from community, stakeholder and line agencies will be informed through the song. -

ABCD program implemented LLE class for women. This class is continuing till now. They are discussing in different issues and success of their village. They developed the habits of sharing to each other in group. Along the class they understood an importance and need of group. So they formed a women action group (WAG).

She has quit foreign employment

Laxmi Yonjan is a residence of Banaspati tole of Padampokhari VDC which is about 5 km far from the Hetauda municipality. She has four children. Laxmi didn't get a chance to step at school in her childhood because her parents didn’t give importance for her education.
In 1995 she has started small business like poultry but she is not succeeding in business due to education. She has faces difficulties in keeping the account. She is not satisfied with her business thus she plan to go foreign country for employment .She has prepare documents too. But she is quite little bit afraid because she has no education.
When Share and Care Nepal, WDC project organized life relevant education center in her village she has participated in the LRE centre. In the LRE center she has learned how to write and read. In the LRE center she has also learned about the consequences of the foreign employment and about human trafficking. The LRE center develops confidence to keeping records of account and reading. So she has plan to start small tea shop rather than go to foreign country for employment Thus she has changed her plan to fly foreign country for employment.
After the LRE the participants realized power and importance of unity so they have formed a women group. In the women group they started saving and discuss about social issues like domestic violence and human trafficking. The group has planned to create awareness on such types of issues in their village. Laxmi yonjan is elected as a treasure of the women group. So she has keeping the account of the group.
She has taken a loan form the group and started small shop at her village. With inspiration of women group member she started this shop six month ago. She has earned NRs. 1000 -1500 per day. Now she is happy and satisfied with this business. She says “I can’t imagine how my daily life went in the foreign country if Share and Care didn’t organize LRE in my village but I am gradually recognized as an entrepreneur”
The LRE develop my confidence and encouraged to do something in my own village. Therefore I have started business and I will put my all effort to promote my business. I have quite foreign employment
