Problem of uterus prolapse
The women of project area VDCs are mostly suffering from uterus prolapsed. The reason behind the diseases is unsafe pregnancy and delivery. During delivery period, at home, untrained people are engaged. For a delivery mothers are making effort with ropes; create vomiting by self coughing or even keeping hair inside their mouth. After delivery, they are not able take full rest. They start carry heavy things after 2 weeks, which cause uterus prolapsed. Mothers often conceal their problems.

About 18 patients out of 600 were found to have suffered from uterus prolapse during the last years Health Camp in Jarsingpauwa of Lapsephedi VDC.

This camp suddenly opens our eyes that still women are hiding this disease which can be cured simply. To address this prevailing disease Share and Care started awareness for FCHVs and Women's Group members and started to put ring pessary to those women who are suffered from uteruscollapse. Then only other women of the community startedexpressing their problems freely to each other and seek assistance.

Also this year a health gynecology camp for women was organized on November 11 and 12. It was found 60 out 155 women came to camp has uterus prolapse problems. 19 out 14 them women needed uterus operation and other for placing ring pessary. This problem is found in women ranges from age of 22 to 78.

During the camp community people express gratitude towards Share and Care Nepal for raising awareness & making women to express their health problems. A number of women still are suffering from the diseases. But the problem is sure to be eliminated if the public awareness becomes more effective.
