What Work we Do
HIV/AIDS
AIDS may become the leading cause of death in the age group 15-49 years over the next ten years. The National AIDS Council has endorsed Nepal's National HIV/AIDS Strategy 2002-2006, which guides the multicultural responses in the country. One adverse effect of migration, which may have wide repercussions throughout the country, is the introduction of HIV/AIDS through returning migrants. This issue is hidden at this time, so it is difficult to assess the extent of the problem.

- Networking with Govt. National AIDS council and other NGO's involved in this issue.
- Counseling of HIV/AIDS infected and affected persons.
- Integrate HIV/AIDS issues with other projects.
- Organizing educational campaigns, workshops, meetings and publish articles.

- Community based rehabilitation of HIV/AIDS infected and affected persons.
- Testing for HIV/AIDS
- Develop Integrated HIV/AIDS community transformation project
