What Work we Do
Peace and Reconciliation
The Maoist combatants are vulnerable and separated from families and friends. They have feeling of loneliness, desperation and frustration. The affected community has gone through psychological trauma. The harmony within and between the communities has been disrupted. People find it difficult to trust each other. There is urgent need to work towards peace and reconciliation. Share and Care has confidence of the community and is willing to take up the challenge of working with Maoist Combatant, the community leaders and the community at large. Vocational training for the youth, trauma counseling for the affected community, and efforts of building community harmony would be much relevant.
